Favourite Fall Lip Colours

Fall is my favourite time to wear red/darker lip colours. My favourites are CoverGirl's Natureluxe in the colour Muscat and YSL's lipstick in the colour Rouge Pur Couture. 

Muscat is a deeper red colour but is great if you don't want too much of a statement because the colour doesn't go on to intense. Rug Pur Couture on the other hand goes on a lot more intense. With just one coat it's not too dark though. 

Beauty Aisle Browsin'

Today is just a short post but I thought I'd show you some pictures of some products at the beauty aisle at Loblaws that look really nice.

This is Essie's new fall collection. I love the autumn colours.

These are some special nail art nail polishes that just arrived at Loblaws and they look really neat but hard to use.

Maybelline Great Lash mascara but the special version where the brush is a heart. I think that's pretty cool but it should have come out around Valentines day.

Don't even really know what this is but the design on the compact is really fun.

Lipgloss Crush

 I love these Wetslicks lip glosses by CoverGirl because they have a bit of colour, a nice amount of shine, and some sparkle. They also never dry out your lips which is great. This gloss is called Crush which is a nice pink sparkly colour. I can't find anything else to say about this gloss except that it's great.

Moisture, Shine, & Colour All Wrapped Up In 1

At the Taylor Swift concert I went to a few days ago they were handing out these free lip glosses. It made me pretty excited because normally they're $9 each. These are CoverGirl Natureluxe gloss balms I actually own 2 of these already but in different shades. The ones I got at the concert are in the colour Sandstone which is the one on the left and Marble which is on the right. I love these because they're like a balm, gloss, and lipstick all in one. I also really like the colours they come in and that they have SPF 15 which is perfect for a hot sunny day like today.

Excellent Ever Bloom

You know those scented markers, well it feels like I'm using a raspberry scented one every time I use CoverGirl's Outlast Lip Stain. Although it feels like I'm applying marker to my lips it works very well. It gives a nice long lasting colour (for me it lasted 3 hours) and smells nice. I bought mine in the colour Ever Bloom. Another good thing I found is that so far it hasn't dried out my lips like I've hear other lip stains do. It doesn't give any shine but it makes your lips look smooth and glowey.

Replacements

When you're brushing you're teeth I doubt you're having the time of you're life and I doubt you're feeling the least bit glamorous, I know I don't. So when I found this CoverGirl wetslicks AmazeMint lip gloss I was so stoked. It's a lip gloss that has colour and shine while also being a breath freshener because they used Crest's peppermint oil in the lip gloss. I thinks it's really good and amazing for those times where you don't have a tooth brush handy.

Two Is Better Than One

It's Valentine's Day which means it's the ultimate day of love and also in my opinion, lip gloss. The reason being that if you're lucky enough to be going out on a date there is a pretty good chance you're gonna be wearing lip gloss and if you're not wearing lip gloss you'll probably be wearing lip balm or lipstick. 

Since on Valentine's Day two is always better that one this lip gloss by CoverGirl is perfect because it has 2 steps. The first step is a colour gloss and the second step is a clear gloss to go on top of the colour. This lip gloss is amazing the first time you use it but the second time you use it it will make your lips peel. Also I've    read that you can use lip gloss as an eye shadow but my advice isuf

 don't even dare try that with this one it will make your eye swell and turn red. ( I speak from an ugly experience. )

Mondays Suck

Mondays suck! Unless of course you're one of those morning people. But I mean, come on, who could like them especially in the winter when you wake up and it's still dark outside.

The only thing that makes it worse is taking the bus. I have to stand outside for 20 minutes waiting with the wind blowing my hair onto my face so it ends up getting stuck to my mouth because of my sticky lipgloss. Recently though I found the cure by using CoverGirl's Natureluxe gloss balm. It has SPF and gives your lips a glossy look. The best part is that it's not sticky at all! It made my Monday a bit more bearable.
