Simple Soap

This Dove soap for sensitive skin is the product I'm pretty sure I've been using the longest. Soap for your hands seems pretty basic but I think it's something that's pretty essential. When using this soap my hands never get dry from it. However once when I tried it on my face it felt weird, sorta like it was tightening my face? I can't compare to any other soap but it definitely works well.

Basic But Interesting

These 2 sets of studs are so great because they both have very basic everyday earrings like pearl and diamond. They're also awesome because they have interesting pieces like the blue diamond ones. They're from Joe Fresh. Although Joe Fresh is located in Loblaws they have really cool clothing and jewelry. 

Summer Sightings

I am aware that it's snowing where I live and that it's weird that I'm thinking about shorts, but sometimes it's nice to look forward to things. These are the kind of things I'm looking for in my summer wardrobe.

Happy Valentine's Day

This weekend I had a Valentine's baking streak. Besides cupcakes I also made sugar cookies. I used a very basic recipe like this one. I'm also very happy on how the icing turned out because this is the first time I haven't gotten icing everywhere.

Valentine's Day Cupcakes

I baked these chocolate cupcakes with vanilla butter cream icing. My favourite part about these cupcakes are the liners because they're lined with foil so you can't see through them. The liners are definitely the perfect touch because they're pink and Valentine's Day is coming up.

(Have you noticed that Valentine's Day is the exception for pink and red going together.)

Go To Hair Styles

These are tutorials found on some of my favourite YouTube channels. These hairstyles have become regulars and are easy to do once you get the hang of it. 

This video finally taught me how to do the fishtail braid.

I love doing this style but I leave a few front pieces of my hair down. I also get lots of compliments on it and people asking me how I did it.

Scarves

I've loved scarves for along time. I find they make almost every outfit look like there was thought involved. They're also a great way to incorporate something like patterns or bright colours into your look.

The one furthest to the left is from Fraas, next over is Urban Planet, then a vintage one (it's just from Value Village but vintage sounds cooler), and then Old Navy. 

Valentine's Day Fun

Valentine's Day is a week away so here are some Valentine's Day themed items that I think are really cute.

Charming

Right now I really want a charm bracelet so I decided to make my dream one using Photo Shop and images of some really cute charms I found online. It would be cool to have one because it would gain sentimental value but who knew that came at such a large price. One of these charms cost $400! The charms on this bracelet are from Juicy Couture, Anthropologie, and Tiffany's. My favourite one is the frappuccino!

Just Me?

I was really excited to try out this Perfecting Cover Concealer by Sephora but after using it for a week I'm pretty sure I won't buy it again. I got mine in the shade light and it matched my skin tone well, my face didn't react to it, and it has good redness coverage. However when I apply it to my skin it looks as if though my face is dry because it looks like I have small pieces of dead skin. Maybe I do but I've never seen them until I put on the concealer. I've read reviews and that doesn't happen to anyone else though maybe it's just me?
