All That Orange

So far I've been liking fall. Being able to wear jeans and sweaters, drinking warm drinks, and all that good fall themed food. These are a few pictures I've taken of my fall so far, it consisted of a bit more than shoes, pie, and my cat but hope you enjoy!

Fall's Hot Drinks

I have to admit even though I miss summer desperately I'm excited for sweaters, boots, pumpkins, and falling leaves. The thing I'm most anticipating is warm drinks. Every coffee shop seems to have a huge lineup of fall themed drinks. Even though it's still technically summer I've gotten a head start. Some of my favourites are chai tea lattes and pumpkin spice steamers (milk with pumpkin spice syrup). 

Wonderful Water

Lately I've been really into Pinterest. I saw a cool picture of some fancy looking water on a couple of boards so I decided to make it. I used 4 cucumber slices, half a lemon cut into wedges (slices would look cooler but I could not manage cutting the slices), and 10 mint leaves. After letting it sit for a bit it ended up tasting great!

It's definitely more exciting than plain water but more healthy than pop and stuff.

Life In Mint Green

I thought I'd show you pin wheels from my birthday cake in a vase (an empty soda bottle) because I think it looks really cool. They're like flowers except you don't have to tend for them. Now on to the M&M's. This is a pack of mint M&M's I got for Easter and I'm a quite excited to eat them! 

Reading this over I realize the subjects are quite different so sorry for the randomist.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter weekend! To celebrate Easter I made these chocolate cookies. I'm very proud of myself because it's the fist time I've used icing and it didn't go everywhere. I thought they turned out really well. To make things even better I saw a wild bunny (wild bunny sound really weird). I think it must be good luck to see a bunny on Easter!

Happy Valentine's Day

This weekend I had a Valentine's baking streak. Besides cupcakes I also made sugar cookies. I used a very basic recipe like this one. I'm also very happy on how the icing turned out because this is the first time I haven't gotten icing everywhere.

Pie Making Abilities

Lets just start off by saying that those raspberries look weird close up. Now that we've got that out of the way, I've started making pies! I think they taste good not so sure about anybody else's opinion but I have no problem keeping it to myself. I started making them after I got a cookbook called Vegan Pie In The Sky. I've only made 3 but this raspberry pie has been my favourite out of all of them which is surprising because while making it I was texting, printing my homework, and trying to instruct my sister on helping me.
