Pie Making Abilities

Lets just start off by saying that those raspberries look weird close up. Now that we've got that out of the way, I've started making pies! I think they taste good not so sure about anybody else's opinion but I have no problem keeping it to myself. I started making them after I got a cookbook called Vegan Pie In The Sky. I've only made 3 but this raspberry pie has been my favourite out of all of them which is surprising because while making it I was texting, printing my homework, and trying to instruct my sister on helping me.

All Things Sweet

Jam packed days are always fun but you need something to give you a bit of extra energy to last through swimming, shopping, and then midnight manicures (I used Pansy by Essie which is a really nice colour). I find that cupcakes do just the trick especially when they're cute. Which these pie inspired ones definitely are.

My cousins and I found this idea in a book called What's New, Cupcake? by Karen Tack and Alan Richardson. One of my cousins showed it to me yesterday and I'm already in love with the book because of all the amazing ideas. Making the cupcakes was fun because we used 3 packs of M&M's and there were lots of leftovers (yum).

'Cause it's Monday I also thought I'd post about a lip product.

This lip balm in by Lip Smacker and is in the flavour Cotton Candy which I though suited this post well because so far it's been about sweet treats. This balm moisturizes your lips but also gives them a somewhat shiny finish. Hope you enjoyed.

Will Cook For Shoes

I really like to bake but I like looking good while I do it and my apron from Domisyle (which is a store) does the trick. I just love the style of my apron and the slogan that comes with it which is "Will cook for shoes".

(The polka dots rock!)

(This picture doesn't really capture the apron so you
can check it out at their website
here.)
Besides the fact that I have a cool apron I also made some pretty good cookies. They were oatmeal chocolate chip and I got the recipe form the cook book "Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar". I love this book because I'm pretty much vegan at home and vegetarian when I go out to eat. So while using this book  I never have to worry about substituting for anything.
