Just A Jar

Recently my favourite way to store anything is in a jar. It's two in one cause you get to eat whatever is in the jar and then you can put stuff in it. It's kinda a DIY, but you need no artistic talent! Even thought it's just a jar I think it makes anything inside it look really cool.

Feather Earring Inspiration

I purchased these feather earrings at Sea Jewels. I love them because they're really simple and because I've been looking for a cheep pair of feather earrings for a while. Here's some of my inspiration.

Colour Blocking Bracelets From ASOS

I bought these five bracelets from ASOS.com lying on my couch with a flu a few weeks ago and it really gave me a sense of accomplishment because I hadn't done anything but watch old movies for the past three days. I was attracted to these because of the bright colours and low price of about $3. These bracelets made me excited about arm candy and I think they're great because they fulfil the colour blocking trend.

Bracelet Beading

I've been really into beading lately, these are just a few of the bracelets I've made so far. It's definitely cheaper to make your own jewelry and it's more fun when someone asks you where you bought them to say that you made them!

Arm Candy Part 2

This is part two of my arm candy posts. This combo is really girly but the jean adds a cool vibe to it. The butterfly bracelet is really old so I don't know where it's from, the pearls are from Forever 21, and the jean is a DIY project I completed successfully buy cutting jeans into shorts and braiding the scraps into a bracelet.

Arm Candy Part 1

A goal I have for this summer is to wear a lot of bracelets, I know this has been a trend for a while but I just never got into it. I've started figuring out how I'm going to wear my bracelets early so I'm prepared.
In the first picture I'm wearing a bracelet from Taylor Swift's Fearless concert and a beaded bracelet from the organization Me to We as well a ring from Aldo. In the second picture I'm wearing a few homemade friendship bracelets and another bracelet from a gift shop.
These are pretty basic but I'm just getting started.

Tres Belle

I'd love to travel to Paris but for right now I'll have to settle for wearing the Eiffel Tower. This adorable necklace and ring set is from a store called Over The Rainbow and I absolutely love them. It's a great necklace because the charm isn't too big so it doesn't stick out and I've never seen any other ring like that one. J'aime le collier et le bague tres beacoup!

Super Useful & Cute

Keeping all your studs in a little card bored box isn't really that convenient, so when I got this earring holder I was super excited. It's from Urban Outfitters and I'm pretty sure it would hold more that 100 earrings. Besides being super useful it's also really cute.

Picture Haul

Isn't it weird how in haul videos people describe exactly what the piece of clothing looks like. Don't they realize that because it's a video we can actually see it too. So for this haul I'm just going show you pictures.

I think this necklace is a great alternative to feather earrings.
This is perfectly cropped and has a really soft materiel.
I thought this top would go really well with the necklace.

I also discovered something amazing today! At certain Bay stores they carry brands like Top Shop and Free People which are stores where I've looked at stuff online but never found a store that sells it. So I'm very excited.

Interesting Accessory

My favourite section at Forever 21 has to be the jewelry. A lot of the pieces are really unique and quite interesting. I find this necklace can add something to any outfit. So far I've worn it with a navy button down and jeans and I found it made the outfit more exciting. My favourite part has to be that it was only $5. The only thing I'd change is that the bottle was openable so you could keep something inside it. That would make it even cooler.

Basic But Interesting

These 2 sets of studs are so great because they both have very basic everyday earrings like pearl and diamond. They're also awesome because they have interesting pieces like the blue diamond ones. They're from Joe Fresh. Although Joe Fresh is located in Loblaws they have really cool clothing and jewelry.

Charming

Right now I really want a charm bracelet so I decided to make my dream one using Photo Shop and images of some really cute charms I found online. It would be cool to have one because it would gain sentimental value but who knew that came at such a large price. One of these charms cost $400! The charms on this bracelet are from Juicy Couture, Anthropologie, and Tiffany's. My favourite one is the frappuccino!

Some Auttum Shopping

This weekend I found this shirt at Forever 21 and thought it was an amazing shirt especially for the low price of $18.

I think this shirt could be paired and switched up a lot of different ways so it was a good buy.
I also got a gold coloured leaf necklace to wear with the shirt because they were having a sale on jewlery.

I think this necklace is perfect for Fall.
Thanks for reading!

Looking Good While Helping Out

I got this really nice bracelet/necklace from We Day which I recently posted about. All of the funds from the sales of this bracelet go to help the people affected by the drought in Africa. It makes you feel good about shopping and it's really cute.

Stay tuned for another accessories post about a purse from ASOS's. It should be coming soon, if my package arrives.

Old Looking Things Are Cool

I've been in love with key necklaces for almost 2 years now and finally I've been given the chance to make my own. My aunt got a whole key ring of keys from a random antique store and gave me a few so I could make a necklace. I bought the chain from Michaels but I should have checked if it had a clasp 'cause when I got home I had to attach a clasp myself. I think it turned out great. Here are some pictures that I edited by using Instagram.

Jewelry For Fun

When I was in Nova Scotia I couldn’t help but do some shopping. I went to this store called Amos Pewter which is a store that makes jewelry and such out of pewter (pewter is a metal of some sort).  I picked up the necklace at the actual store where they make the jewelry and boy, does Nova Scotia have nice buildings.
I mean look at this.

How many houses have you seen that are purple and blue? I actually bought the earrings at an Amos Pewter display at the airport on the day I was leaving.
I really like the necklace because it looks so delicate and pretty. I haven’t put the earring in yet but I bet they’ll look good. I also think that this jewelry is perfect for wearing to the beach but with summer coming to a close soon I’ll be in school. Then wearing it will be a memory of when I was having fun.

Home Made Bangles

I got this really neat book called P.S- I Made This by Erica Domesek. The book is full of fashionable DIY projects. I got this book almost a year ago but I never made anything from it but I few days ago I decided I had to make something from it or the book would have been a total waste. I decided to make bangles. In the book the instructions say to get pipe clamps, adjust the size with a screw driver, then wrap ribbon around the pipe clamp, tie it, and voila you have some stylish bangles. Here are some pictures of the making of the bangles.

(Pipe clamps from Canadian Tire)
