Kensington Market Photo Diary

I went to Kensington Market this weekend and took some pictures so I thought I'd do a photo diary.

The picture above and below are both from a couple of vintage stores. A lot of the clothing didn't really seem like something I would wear but it was really cool and entertaining to look at all of the pieces.

Someone was just selling these feather extensions on the street and they look really cool!

My amazing food for the day! 

I found this large collection of sodas and such in a store and was quite fascinated by all of the selection.

My Inspiration Board

This is a picture of my magnetic board that sits above my desk. I love switching the pictures up because I feel that different images change up my room. The pictures also make me feel inspired to take cool pictures and make me feel happy.

Changing My Ways

Shoe shopping is something that I have disliked for a while. I used to have a frustration with seeing around $75 going to one pair of shoes, I would much rather just buy a few tops. But I want to change my ways. 

No I'm not gonna start riding my bike instead of taking the bus, I'm not going to start being a really affectionate person, I'm gonna buy more shoes! 

Shoes are actually a practical thing to buy because they are something you have to wear every day. It's especially good if you buy shoes like Toms because they donate a pair of shoes to someone who needs them. Below are 2 pairs of really pretty shoes that I could not walk in but are fun to look at.

I was attracted to these YSL shoes because of the mint green.

I love these ones because they just look so sophisticated! 

These shoes by Steve Madden are practical, I could actually walk in them, and they're really cute.

Fall Shoe Story

This is a video I made about fall shoes. It's short but I hope you like it.

If you noticed I was walking sorta strangely, I don't know what was up with that, I don't normally walk that way. I think I was just trying to make walking look cooler but it didn't really work.

Lovely Burgundy

I went shopping about a week ago and I noticed that in all the fall collections there was a lot of burgundy. I'm not usually a fan of red colours but as I shopped I found 4 pieces of clothing that were burgundy that I really liked. I didn't purchase any of them (yet) but I decided to share some burgundy pieces that I found images of online that I like.

Tis The Season To Wear Flip Flops

I've been eyeing these adorable flip flop earrings for years waiting for the day I got my ears pierced. This year I finally got them done and bought my long awaited flip flop studs from Sea Jewels. 

Sea Jewels is a really neat store selling things like jewelry, clothing, and home decor. Here is a picture from the Sea Jewels website to give you an idea of what the store is like.

 I think these earrings are an amazing  summer accessory because what goes better with a pair of flip flops than more flip flops.

Spring's Steps

This winter I lived in Ugg's and black boots so I needed to update my shoes for spring so I got Keds. Some people think that Keds aren't so stylish but I think they're pretty good because they make my feet look smaller unlike Converse which make my feet look really long. I got mine in a dark grey 'cause I find that colour is nicer for spring than black but doesn't over due it and they also go with a lot. While I was shopping I also tried on Toms. I love the idea that you buy a pair and then they give a pair of shoes to someone in need. On me they didn't look so good but if they look good on you I think they're a really good choice. 

The View Is Great

This afternoon I went for a jog and realized I'm sorta out of shape because after 1 km I got really tired then I just sorta walked the rest of the trail. 

My favourite part about jogging is getting to carry around a cool water bottle. Mine is a reusable purple Vapur water bottle. It's really neat because once you're done with it you can fold it up.

I also really like to buy running shoes. I didn't wear my nice ones though because they always end up getting really muddy. Today they got really wet because I sorta walked right through a puddle.

The final thing I liked about jogging was the amazing view.

Blue Leopards

I have a daily shoe calender and the images are always shoes that I never imagined existed. 

Today's picture was this really average looking heel but the pattern is amazing. I never really liked the leopard print style but now I totally do. The blue makes it look sorta modern. On the calender it says Blue leopard print "Heart of My Heart" scalloped sandal, Jan Jansen 2010. Until today I had no idea who Jan Jansen was but I Googled him and all of his designs are so amazing. They aren't exactly something I would wear but only because they're more like a piece of art.
