My Favourite Products In 2012

These are my favourite beauty products from 2012! Most of them were released in previous years, so these are just products that I've really loved through out this year.
From left to right the products are Essie's Turquoise and Caicos, Revlon's Bold Sangria, a Revlon lip butter in Berry Smoothie, an EOS lip balm in Honey Suckle, Urban Decay's eyeliner in Zero, Fresh's lip balm in Sugar, a YSL mascara, and The Body Shops, Aloe Eye Defense.
These are all great products that actually do what they claim they to! I feel like all products should meet that requirement sadly not all do, but these ones definitely do.

Happy New Year's!

Red Velvet Lips

The first time I put on this Revlon Lip Butter in the colour Red Velvet I was really disappointed because the colour seemed super dark. After trying it out a couple of times though I've grown to love it. If you dab it on your lips it gives you a "I just ate raspberries tint" and when you apply it intensely it is actually flattering. The only thing I have against this products is that after the second application it dries out your lips a bit so I try to pair it with a lip balm.

Favourite Fall Nail Polishes

These are a few nail polishes that I love to wear during this time of year. From left to right Essie's "Sand Tropez, Nicole by O.P.I's "Show Your Care", Essie's "Glamour Purse", and finally Revlon's "Bold Sangria". I love the colours of these nail polishes but also how easy it is to apply them.

Revlon Balm Stain Review

It took me such a long time to find these Revlon Balm Stains and when I found them, the colours had already been picked through. I first bough the shade Love Sick but the colour looked too bright and kind of cakey on my lips so I returned it a choose the shade Cherish instead. I really like the product. The colour lasts for a decent amount of time (maybe 3 hours) but you have to reapply after eating. I especially love the minty flavour and that the colour is very true to the packaging. I'm glad I finally accomplished purchasing one of these!

Peach Passion

This is such a raved about product that when I put it on I was expecting fireworks to start exploding, but no such thing seemed to occur. It does have a great texture and slight fragrance of vanilla but it's the colour I wasn't too fond of. The colour looks a) nothing like a peach (that's alright though) and b) nothing like the lid which is misleading. The colour, although not what I thought it would be, lasts for a long time without drying out my lips.

July Favorites

These are my favourite beauty products of the month. I like watching these types of videos on YouTube so I thought I'd make a blog version.

This eyeshadow pallet that I got sent when I ordered a subscription from 17 magazine has been something that I use quite often. I especially love the colour that has the big dent in it, it's a beautiful gold bronze colour that is perfect summer.

This is the brush for Maybelline's Falsies Volum' Express mascara in the water proof formula which has been great for summer. I also really like the colour of the packaging.

This Essie nail polish called Turquoise and Caicos is definitely talked about a lot and I see why. It's a beautiful colour! Paired with this Aziza clear polish for a base and top coat it lasts for a good week without needing to change it.
In the background of this picture is Joico's Daily Care Conditioning Shampoo which I only just discovered this month and I'm glad I did 'cause it makes my hair look and feel good.

These two peach coloured/flavoured products have been my favourite lip products for the month of July. On the left Maybelline's Shine Sensational lip gloss in Peach Sorbet and on the left Revlon's lip butter in Peach Parfait. They are both natural colours but give your lips just the right amount of colour.

Lovely Lips

These are some new and some older lip products I've been eyeing lately. I've also been looking at a lot of reviews and these all seem like lovely products!

2 Coats The Charm

This is Revlon's Colorstay Longwear Nail Polish in the colour Bold Sangria. This nail polish is opaque with two coats and with two coats it becomes a very dark purple bordering on black. It took a while to dry but not any longer than any other nail polish. I've only had it on for a day so I don't know how long it lasts but I'll update this post when I know.

Just For Looks

This is a really cute nail filler by Revlon. I realized that I suck at actually using fillers but I think it quite cute. It is definitely perfect for the spring season.

Pineapple Fizz Lip Gloss

The scent of this Revlon lip gloss makes me want to eat it! It's in the flavor Pineapple Fizz and that's exactly what it smells like, pineapple mixed with a sparkling soda. This gloss has a bit of sparkle and a lot of shine. It doesn't have any colour but that's good because I don't think anyone wants yellow lips. If there was a beauty product I'd want to become a food I think it would be this.

Pastel Marble Nail Tutorial

This is my tutorial on how achieve marble nails.

This time around it didn't work but I did the same thing when I tried it before and got great results.

Spring Nail Polish

These are some nail polishes that I plan to wear a lot this spring. Here are their names from left to right; Sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac, Revlon's Jaded, Essie's Guchi Muchi Puchi, Nicole by O.P.I.'s Rich In Spirit, and L'oreal's Party Hop. I love the pastel tones excluding the blue one of course. The thing they all have in common is the bright fun effect the spring gives off.

Lip Gloss Wish List

I haven't purchased a lip gloss in a while but there are a few I'd like but since I don't feel like buying them I made a wish list. I found some info about each gloss in the ads and online so I'm considering this the lip gloss post of the week.

I know it doesn't look the greatest 'cause I wanted to scan it but I don't have a scanner so I just used my camera and I also sat on it by accident (oops).

Coral Coolness

I love this season's nail polish colours because they're all corals. I love how most corals go with a lot and they also brighten up an outfit. The coral colour I bought for this coming summer is "Jade" by Revlon. This nail polish is in Revlon's Top Speed line but I found that it took a really long time to dry and that was because I think the polish was a bit runny. None the less I love this colour and plan to wear it a lot. I also find that this polish looks amazing with gold. So whether this summer you plan to be walking on the beaches or partying in the city this polish is right for you.
