Project Pointless

I'm always in awe of the unpractical ideas presented in magazines for home decor. Things like leaving shelves empty, stacking empty antique suit cases, and finally having random books lying around when you have a book shelf. While I've decided to take a go at one of those unpractical ideas and stack some books even though I still have room on my book shelf.
I'm actually quite enjoying the look. We'll have to wait and see though cause I'll get tired of moving everything off of the books when I want to read them, and then putting everything back.

Statement Earrings!

I was inspired to purchase these earrings at Forever 21 because of an article in Teen Vogue's March 2012 issue about statement earrings. These aren't huge statement earrings but I think they're good enough and I love the colour! Some other semi statement earrings I have that I think fit the trend are feather earrings and blue diamond studs (fake obviously). I like this trend because like neon (which has been in for a long time) it will be around for a while.

My Favorite Magazine

Teen Vogue has to be my favourite magazine. It's high fashion but still really fun. Sometimes I try to read Vogue or Elle sometimes but I just don't like them as much. I really like all of their fashion spreads not because the clothes are wearable because most of them aren't but because they're more like a pieces of art. I also really enjoy the ads in Teen Vogue. I'm not sure if that's weird but they keep me up to date on new clothing trends and beauty products.

P.S
Look at the amount of page views I've reached!!!
It's so cool that I viewed them right when they where all sevens and seven is a lucky number

Pretty Amazing

Today I realized that I hadn't blogged about the Teen Vogue Hand Book by Lauren Waterman which is my all-time favourite book. I think I've read it a few too many times.

The book is divided into 6 main sections which are designers, editors, stylists, models, beauty, and photo.
In each section they feature people in that business. It's a really inspiring and helpful book because they give great advice on how to get into the fashion world. I also think it's a very well put together book with great pictures. Overall it's an amazing book and speaking of amazing I can't believe I have over 2000 page views!

Like Raindrops On Roses

You know how in the Sound Of Music they sing about how rain drops on roses are some of their favourite things? Well these are some of my favourite things. ( It wouldn't sound good in a song though.) I know some people couldn't care less about what I think is cool but I decided to do a post about different YouTube channels, blogs, websites, and apps that I like because if you like my blog you'll probably like these.

First I want to tell you about my fave YouTube channel which my cousin recommended to me and it's called Megan Hearts Makeup. On her channel she does hair tutorials, makeup tutorials, and videos about clothing. A couple other channels I like are Christina Grimme and Tiffany Alvord who are both singers.

I really like the blogs May Loves Makeup, (which I talked about before) and Sea Of Shoes. Sea Of Shoes is a really well put together fashion blog.

My alltime favourite website is Teen Vogue because not only do they cover style and beauty news they also cover celebrity gossip.

I don't actually have that many apps on my i-Pod but out of the few my favourites are RunKeeper which  tracks your runs, Pocketbooth which just takes pics like you're in a photobooth, and Nike Training

I hope that after checking out some of the things that I posted about you  found something that you liked.
By the way if you click on the name of something I posted about you will be taken to that website.

March Break Magazines

(About Half Of My Teen Vogue Collection)

(The Magazines M and People Style Watch)

Yesterday I bought some magazines, I got People Style Watch and M but normally I just get Teen Vogue. Not only do I have the latest issues of Teen Vogue I also have lots of issues as far back as 2003 complementary of a Christmas present from my mom. So I really needed to mix it up a bit! People Style Watch is cool it's mostly just about celebrity's style and M is a celeb gossip magazine it's not the best but lets you know what's up. While I was browsing at a book store today I saw a new magazine/book called Paris Vogue Collections Issue 11. This one shows images of the Spring-Summer 2011 runways shows from Milan, London, New York, and Paris which is where I've always dreamed of going.

Just to let you know I've put my blog on bloglovin' which is an awesome site where you can find blogs about everything from beauty to humor and you can follow them all on just 1site. It's also easier to make an account on that site so here is the link if you would like to follow my blog. http://www.bloglovin.com/blog/2368486/all-that-shines
