Skin Care Routine

Skin Care Routine

This is my current skin care routine specifically for my acne prone skin. I've been using this combination of products for about three weeks and it helps. Below is what I do with each product.
1. In the morning  I wash my face then apply Spectro's moisturizer and The Body Shop's eye cream. These to products also both help make it easier to apply concealer.
2. In the evening I wash my face with Clinique's cleanser. Sometimes I use Spectro's spot treatment but it tends to dry out my face so mostly I avoid it.
3. After a workout I use Oxy's medicate acne pads to make sure all the oil get completely off of my face.

Summer Skin Care

These are a few of my favourite summer skin care products.
The Ombrelle sunscreen is especially made for the face so the texture is great but you can also use it on the rest of your body too. This is good 'cause then you never have to feel greasy.
Aloe Caring Body Balm by The Body Shop is probably my favourite. It heals sunburns because of the aloe!  My sister used it when she got a bad sunburn and said that it cooled it and helped heal it.
Spectro's moisturizer for acne prone skin is a product I only just started using this month. I love it because like the Ombrelle sunscreen there is no oily residue left behind and it treats acne. I enjoy using this after I swim in a pool 'cause chemicals in pools tend to dry out my face.

My pets seemed to be quite interested in these products too.

Clear Skin And A Bit Of Sparkle

(Sorry these pics aren't the best for some reason I couldn't get the right lighting.)
For the past few months I have been trying out some face pads for acne. I was really into using Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Daily Cleansing Pads but they smelt really strong. Not in a perfume way but in a chemical way so I switched to Garnier's Daily Purifying Pads. These don't smell as strong and contain good things like zinc, salicylic acid, and eucalyptus. These things help fight acne but also keep you skin from being dry. I also like the packaging of this more than the Neutrogena pads because the colour is nicer and there is a bit of sparkle in it.
